Happy New year, which yes is sad as it's already a month into it (unless you claim you are on the Chinese calendar)

The site is still up and running, and I really want to believe that we aren't asking questions because we are all so lovely and happy, but you never know.

So on that note, the last submissions post had nothing. I suggest that I close that one and start a new one. Hope we can all find a way to keep it alive.

I missed y'all.

So on that note:

Alright so it's been ages but I thought as exams and coursework and proms and dissertations and impending boredom from summer is upon us all, I have decided to share this with you because I want to hug each and everyone of you beautiful and wonderful and amazing people:

Hope all is well and as always, if you need someone to talk to for whatever reason, that is what this community is all about!

Hello everyone, we hope that you have had a great Christmas, and here's hoping all of you have a successful, fruitful and happy 2010. :)

Today, I come with a website with a collection of quotes and photos that might cheer you up. It sure brightened up my day, so hopefully it could do the same to you, too!

hey there, we've got two letters this week, under the cut!Collapse )

hi there, sorry for being such a poor mod and neglecting this place :( Anyway, today I come bearing something different from the usual quote: a few songs.

You Make My Dreams - Hall & Oates.
It's one of the happiest songs I've ever heard, and I grin everytime I listen to it. Melee has done a refreshing cover to it, too.

& for morale boosting:
Undiscovered - James Morrison.
Don't Stop Belivin' - Journey.
(yes I love the Glee Cast Version even more.)

On the other hand, two really sobering but heartbreakingly beautiful songs:
Now Comes The Night - Rob Thomas
The Rose - LeAnn Rhimes
(there're tons of covers of this songs, but female vocalists tend to do it better.)

Hope you enjoy these! What are some of the songs you turn to for cheering up?

One new letter!Collapse )

Hello folks! I come bearing a quote from my favourite site, pleasefindthis.blogspot.com:
I made a lot of mistakes before I got to you (each one honest and none that I regret). The same way a tree bends in the wind and twists and turns, before it can touch the sky.
Meanwhile, Submissions Post is still open, so feel free to voice your worries! Hope you have a great Sunday, and a fruitful week ahead :)

Hello guys! Foremost, this is picaillon on a new account, and not a new mod. I'm sorry I've been pretty silent for the past few weeks; I've been juggling an exam and a new account, and I've finally managed to settle down. So I come bearing a story today, under a cut:
everything will be okayCollapse )
